they should change juve back to piemont! u could edit the strips then!

also the referee constantly blows for fouls and it's goddamn hard to outpace people at 3 stars, I'll persevere though

So far, imho its shite.

Imho it appears to be soley design for those who use the D-pad, as the analog sticks are about as accurate as a blinfolded emile heskey.

I'm good at all the other pro evo games, this one's murder though, the players take an age to turn, frustrating!

exact a ****ing mundo.

Im totally imbedded in the pass-turn-move ethos, short sharp turn and passes. But this on eis impossible to do. Realistic yes, cuntage?? Defo.

It is a top class game in every aspect bar this problem. Why the **** do they always have to do the shite side step nomatter what??

Still the best tho :groan:

P.s Bes, do u use the D-pad or the stick?

Edit: anyone figured a easy way of stopping lampard spanking it in to the top corner on six star all the time?? Every time Lamps cracks a stunner....its very irritating.

Hold [] when defending, for a teammate to pressure Lampard, while you move your own defender in front of Lampard, trying to intercept the ball.

I like the game so far. Yes the slow clontrol of the players has made it harder(and frustrating at times), but more realistic. Which in the long run, helps the game.
ou have to build up your play much slower and actually pass the ball around. Opposite to the previous installment where you could dribble entire defences, easily. By the way, with a lot practice and particularly timing, you can steal dribble past quite a few defenders.

You need to forget, how you played the previous game. Keep at it, i'm sure you'll find the game to be excellent.

i m now good enough in six tars to beat everyteam with Juventus at 10' halfs
and i dont have a problem with the slow pace, the hard turns etc etc,
i m used to it now,
the big broblem is, A.I. players are always too perfect,
how is this realistic, why do they never foul?
how do they always manage to control the ball, make easy turns and perfect tackles?
its like playing with a handicap,
its harder its not more realistic, there is a difference there.
and the worst part of it is,that its seems when playing 2player mode the slighty better team has all those in game favourism the A.I. has:fero:

Read the Manual or learn how to trap the ball- go to training and controls. Some good useful tips there.

About the game- its really good. Most things improved. However, what pisses me off the most is the free kicks- they are easier then ever- yes I know they dont come as much but when every game you score a free kick or have one scored against you it becomes a bit unrealistic.

Here's the key to mastering PES5:play it like its an entirely new game, forget about PES4.In time you'll learn to love it.
My sentiments exactly. If you get over the hump of applying moves and things that work in PES4 on PES5, then its alot easier and better.

In essence this game probably seen the most complete overhaul in recent times(since PES2-3) so it's important to get a new feel of the game.

With practice the fake move works pretty well in helping to get past players, also try running at normal speed head on towards a defender and dashing to his side with R1 as late as possible.Stepovers can now be interrupted more easily to make a quick dash forward and long shots are lethal.Find and abuse every nook and cranny in the game and you'll be fine.

Which fake move are you talking about? Square and then X?
