The O_text is basically the main data file, so yes that is a must.

There was a patch for PES 4 for PS 2.Is there any patch for PES 5 for PS2?

Download&extract , then overwrite the files in your Pro Evo dat folder

There were two versions.The first was 2 DVDs.You had to insert the first with the patch and after that the dvd with the game.

The second version was in one dvd.

It might interest me since i have the J version of PES 5 ( no Robinho, no Balzaretti )

New kits, player's stats from the beggining,latest transfers(the PES series transfers end in July so the transfers of the last days are not in the game), and if I remember well some new stadiums and new menus.
