I just got the demo yesterday. It felt like playing FIFA than PES to be honest. I just played one game. Before watching the borefest of doria and inter.

Anyway, some aspects of this game make me want to snap my controller in half.

Playing on Top Player level or online against human opponents I constantly have a problem with defenders not assigning to the cursor when I move it, it becomes very confused and often they just leave the ball or end up dribbling into an opponent. I've tried assisted, unassisted and semi assisted cursors but all make little difference. Defending seems to have been made unnecessarily difficult. Maybe it's just how I play it.

Otherwise it is a very good game.

I haven't bought FIFA in a long time, i've always been a PES guy, but a lot of people have said that FIFA has become better than PES.

For me the most important thing is the gameplay, a lot more important than graphics, licenses and shit like that. So, which would you say has the better gameplay?

My only qualm with PES is how good they make players like Messi, Ronaldo and co. They're virtually unstoppable at times. Really irritating.

defenders are much more 'competent' in this game, the gap is not that crazy.

Not the same on this game, the kids all still play with Madrid or Barca online and pass to those players but that's just force of habit, you can stop them easily enough. Dribbling and taking on players is nowhere near as easy, but as I said before, defending through balls seems to be the hardest part.

I'm just finishing my Copa Libertadores campaign for the 80G's on Xbox, playing as Sao Paulo vs Internacional, Inter put some insane Brazil 1970's move against me for a goal, you can't really jump in or stand off without lots of practice.
