He's great for a club without any title aspirations like Rome where he is indisputably the star of the team and everyone looks to pass him the ball.

He was good for us up until he scored those 2 worldies vs Barca. Then is when we should have cashed in on him.

He flirted with Inter and would join them happily,
Would, could, should... He scored plenty of memorable goals and he is actually among top 10 scorers in our history. He has never said a bad word about our club. Even when he was leaving, he kept his mouth shut. No grudges. Based on his contribution on the pitch during the 7 years spent here, he is a legend.

Dybala >>>> Mandzukic
No doubt. Mandzukic is an awesome player to have, a grinta guy through and through (you hate him as an opponent a la Lichsteiner or Nedved, but when he's on your team you absolutely love his effort and hustle), but in terms of ability and impact it's not even a contest.

We had Dybala, Mandzukic, and Higuain, and now we have Vlahovic  :sigh:

If you had said Ronaldo it would have made sense but Vlahovic is pretty much on par with Higuain, slightly better than Dybala in terms of goalscoring proficiency (albeit they are different players) and miles ahead of Manduzkic.

I'm talking about impact and intangibles. Vlahovic is nowhere near the level of any of these players in terms of what he has done for Juventus. Perhaps it's not entirely his fault, as he has a midfield comprised of duds, and up until this season, no wingers to speak of.

Also, fuck Rodildo - I'm glad that era is over.

once u fire your employee you don't get to decide what they do.

do you cal your ex gf and tell him who they should date?
Yes, but he already had agreement to join inter when he was Juve player, he didnt join because in the end, they were stacked in attack and were unable to sell Correa and Dzeko.
We wanted to offer him 8,5m and 1.5m bonuses net until 2026 at start, but after his injuries we significantly lowered the offer to 6 or 5m. So he started plotting with inter and in the end was outsmarted by Marotta, who made him leave us, but never really gave him contract he was promised. In the end he signed contract with Roma for less than 4m net lol.
I agree we didnt really act as professional club maybe should act, but it would be so stupid to sign the original contract with him which he didnt deserve at all

Inter stays ahead also because they met Antun 4 times (Dybala was there once too...) and made an official offer. Atletico only summit. The other clubs linked to the Joya in recent months have never gone beyond a phone call/conference call so far

No. If Juventus had kept the verbal agreement of October 13 (four-year contract worth 8 million net plus 0.5 million in easy bonuses and 1.5 million tied to appearances/goals/club performance) Dybala would have renewed 100%. The black and white club backtracked in February and Inter arrived

The low offer from #Juventus does not convince Paulo #Dybala and his representatives. Distant parties, also because Joya has 2 other economically more significant offers on the table. #calciomercato

If we're going with that analogy regarding Dybala, I'd say most people on this forum just stalk their ex gf, watch her date and court numerous guys and pine for her while she has sex in a back alley while claiming they couldn't care less about her and she was never important to them anyway.
