A lot of this is probably nonsense, if a player doesn't do as the club wants its easy to marginalise Dybala and remove him from training, not even let him on the bench etc. Contracts will be sorted at the end of the season and he seems to be willing to play. He has resale value so even if he isn't allowed to play for us again, someone will pick him up but since he has featured in games it makes me think all the reports are fake apart from Dybala needing to sort out his contract.

Dybala leaving on a Bosman would be a freaking nightmare.

Im curious if the ~7m + bonus as posted here before is true. If so, it’s probably a status things that he didn’t accepted it yet, as De Ligt would earn more. He deserves more than De Ligt does imo.
De Ligt is the present and the future. He's already our best CB on the roster and one of the best performers, even in this shit team.

Dybala has achieved more here but it's already the past. He needs to step up to earn it. If he stays beyond this season, I wouldn't renew his contract just for the sake of it. If he redeems himself next season I'd give him a new contract. If he leaves for free, then so be it.

Enough of rewarding mediocrity, he's already on big wages considering his contribution. Pre-pandemic salaries can't happen anymore, not so easily.

Dybala already in the past? He’s 27, not 37. Honestly how could you accept if one of the most talented players we have walks away for free?

Forgot how good Dybala was last season?

By referring to 'the past' I mean exactly the previous seasons. A champion that wants top salary needs to deliver almost constantly, not every second season.

Talented or not, you won't sell him after you give him the next fat contract for being shit. We'd be stuck with yet another wage collector who would be unbothered to deliver.

Want a top player salary? Deliver like one.

Enuf is enuf, we need players that will bleed for this shirt, not ones that will go if someone offers 500k a year more or play with the attitude and indifference like it's Copacabana beach soccer and not top euro football

Have you already forgot how shit he is this season? Or in 2018-19?

Look, I’ll always be fond of Dybala and love his first 3 years at this club, but it’s not acceptable as a player demanding 10mil plus net wages to be as bad as he has been for 2 of 3 seasons.

So yeah, I’d rather sell him for a discount or let him walk for free next year than put him on ~12 mil wages or whatever it is he wants on a contract that takes him into his 30s.

Paris would fit him well actually, if they get rid of Kean and Icardi.

Neymar Mbappe Di Maria
Neymar Mbappe Dybala
Neymar Dybala Di Maria
Mbappe Dybala Di Maria

Hopefully they don't have FFP restrictions and pay us well
