Nah. Sarri was absolutely right to try him. It was all that was left for our season since we were winning the scudetto anyway. He tried to preserve him but had to try something in the end. It failed but at least he tried. Who cares about the few extra weeks of injury after that...
I dunno. Risking a long term injury for a half-fit player isn’t a good look imo. But fair enough

Sometimes you just have to risk it and play the player. Happens in all sports...the decision turns out good and the coach is praised....it turns out bad and the coach is criticised. That's sport.
And he was needed in that game.

Whats done is done, lets turn the page.

I wonder whose sale would generate more pusvalenza, Dybala or Ronaldo?

At the end of last season I would have said Dybala for sure but now I’m not so sure anymore. There’s nothing that drives the value of a player down like a long-term injury.

Then sell CR7.

It would be incredibly shortsighted to sell Dybs instead.
That depends on what Dybala and his camp are demanding as wages to renew. If he’s asking for ~15mil net, then he should be sold immediately. Isn’t worth anything near that. Use the funds to upgrade mid. Ronaldo-Morata-Chiesa up front. Strong midfield supporting makes us CL contender next year.

If he’s willing to take ~10mil net, sign him and renew Morata loan, use as a playmaking CF partner beside Dybala as the poacher next year, with a sale of a Ronaldo funding midfield upgrade. Following summer, 2022, don’t complete Morata purchase unless Atlético offers steep discount, and buy Haaland or next big thing at CF.

because of his salary, ronaldo is a very hard sale even at his book value. knowing tici's selling skills, if we sell cr i expect either zero plusvalenza or a minusvalenza just to have some positive effect on the books by saving his wages, á la higuain.

dybala's book value is literally nothing, without checking the books, i'd say it should be around 5m. sell him for as low as 30m and you get 25m of plusvalenza. according to last week's probably shitty rumors, how much did chelsea and spurs allegedly offer? 50-55m?

Over transfer fee only? Of course dybala. Even if we sell him before july this summer we immediately will get big plusvalenza for this season Financial statement. Swap operation can make plusvalenza bigger like arthur-pjanic one.
I dont know how much our plusvalenza target but if we can swap ronaldo with same player instead of dybala we can get big number too. Plus significant cut costing regarding ronaldo salary..

There is only one player that I would consider trading Dybala for and that is Son Heung-min. What an f'ing beast this player is, among my favorite top 3 non-Juve forwards without a doubt. The other two being Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez.

He's without a doubt the best player ever produced by Asia.
In terms of sheer talent Ali Karimi will shit on him.

Is there really someone that actually believes he will bounce back somehow? He had his prime on his early 20s, now it's a swan song. Is there actually someone that believes 32yr old Dybala could be better than 24yr old Dybala? He will be 28 when the next season starts and that's the age when you should be an established star, but we're yet to know whether he's worth 120m or 60m.
