It'll be interesting to see what happens next. Would the AA we've come to know hit back at a player in this manner if everything was all fine and dandy? I sense a breakdown in relations here. AA clearly got provoked by Dybala's statements yesterday.
Agnelli's response is, in my opinion, totally justified if it is true that Juve offered the player a contract which would place him in the top 20 earners bracket while - at the same time - the player denies that such an offer even took place. Receiving such an offer only to claim that it didn't happen is quite beyond disrespectful.
It's been some time now since Dybala consistently delivered performances worthy of such a salary, let alone the higher one that he and his agent are seemingly holding out for.
Yesterday's goal was a step in the right direction, though, even though his overall performance in the game wasn't particularly awesome. But hopefully he can build on this.
