....Young Boys?

So thankful he is still here, this past summer could've been absolutely disastrous in pushing out one of our best players.

Thank you for saving our assess tonight. It was such a frustrating performance from the team until that quick turnaround.

I see the haters and doubters are in hiding, probably stuffing their faces - does that humble pie taste good or what?
We never gave up the fight, but you deserve a special place within the church. Your canonization is assured

Yet people continue to insist on fielding all three of Dybala, Higuain and Ronaldo together
He scored 2 goals as the Trequartista last night.

Actually neither him or Ronaldo even stayed that fixed close to the box prior to this Higauin change, they rotate wide and deep often. Just with Gonzalo on they got more space around the box.

But it was understandable change considering we were facing opponent that were very disciplined with defending with 10 in centralized way. It didnt require much balance just keep attacking (not sure this will work against others). Plus Bentancur was brilliant covering ground and winning back possession as the RCM, allowed Dybala to only focus on creating and attacking as high up as he wanted.

We’ve had every right to doubt him. Couple of goals doesn’t change anything. Yet. But I’m always open to be proven wrong. He needs to show more consistency that’s all. His ability isn’t in doubt, never was. He’s looks more focused. Maybe that’s due to wanting to sell him during the summer. Kickstarted the little shit

Did well, hope he keeps it up. There are bigger fish he needs to tackle in the completion. Hope the form continues

We faced a special opponent yesterday, I wouldnt say Higuain coming on pushed Dybals to treq, we were mostly parked in the final third.

But if we play Ronaldo, Dybala, Higuain against Atletico f.e., Dybala will have to play deep, I very much prefer Berna or Ramsey as treq

Here we go again...

Nobody doubts Dybala because they hate him, but because he has given every right to be doubted. When he plays like last night and is decisive like last night throughout the season everybody will be fawning over him again like we were after first 2 years.

Friendly reminder Dybala has started each of last two seasons on an even better note and then disappeared for the rest of the season. He scored a hat-trick this time last year in CL and won the United game.

The group D table was looking a bit worrisome at 0-1 down. Then Dybala popped up with two vital goals, including one absolute screamer. He's been wonderful under Sarri so far, showing us the stuff we all know that he can do and what most of his ardent critics have felt has gone missing too much.

He's a fantastic player at his best. My critique was never about that part, but about lack of consistency and that dreadful performance in Cardiff.

He is silencing his critics now, so more power to him. I do respect that a lot! I hope this great run of form continues, as a Dybala in top form will be a massive weapon in the CL (as it has been before).
