Giving his best role to someone else effected his play. Not hard to understand bringing in a player that demands the ball from the cf will get more looks
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to blame Ronaldo for hes shit form took longer than i expected. What happened the previous season then when ronaldo wasnt here and he pretty much sucked in the CL with one goal in 8 matches ?

A lot of posters who bash Sarri are the same people who bash Dybala. That’s not really a coincidence. They blame Dybala for Allegri’s failures, and they are angry at Sarri for replacing Allegri. The usual suspects are @Nzoric @Dru @Post Ironic

Here’s a shocking revelation: we played like absolute shit last season even when Dybala wasn’t on the pitch.

When Ajax owned us in the second half in Turin, your favourite scapegoat was on the bench.

Dybala plays very well against the Sassuolo's, Frosinone's of the world

I can't wait for Juve to begin beating other Serie A sides by 3 goal margins. That will come in very handy in CL coupled with the tremendous amount of experience Sarri will bring to the table.

And Barcelona, evidently :agree:

Dybala is one of those players who plays well when the team plays well, but unfortunately, we have rarely played well in the last 2 seasons.

Dybala isn’t someone who’s going to save you when your overall play sucks. The game against Spurs at Wembley is the only exception.

Wow ok so once against Barca and then a year later in a desperation match away at Tottenham

What a mountain of evidence

But regardless, I want him to ball out for us. Sadly he’s just too inconsistent and one excuse after another being made for him over the past season.

We don’t play that many big games to begin with. Here’s a list of big games Dybala has started for Juve in Europe:

Bayern 2015/16: he scored
Barca 2016/17: he scored twice
Real 2017 final: disappointing
Tottenham 2017/18: scores the winning goal
Real Madrid 2017/18 disappointing
Atletico 2018/19: disappointing
Ajax 2018/19: mixed feelings. He did a good job marking De Jong out of the game before he was subbed off.

I see it as 50/50, and in every game he was disappointing, we sucked as a team.

Too many excuses:

-defending CMs
-not winger
-not getting enough of the ball
-tracking back
-too far from goal
-not close enough to the striker
-Max's man management (arguing with him on subs)
-bad tactics
-not playing as an SS
-too small
-not strong enough
-no right foot
-excels in only one area of the box
-needs to cut in to use left foot
-can't handle pressure
-not starting him kills his confidence
-missed PKs ruined his confidence
-failing for NT
-lacking match fitness
-team playing through ronaldo
-mad at being subbed
-mad at getting benched
-scoring goals against young boys should keep starting him(lol)
-first touch lets him down, slows down our transition
-can't play in 433
-can't play in 4231
-can't play as the target man CF
-broke up with his girlfriend (LOLOL)

@Dru - what am I missing?

Anyway, lets all hope Sarri picks the right formation that somehow manages to avoid all the excuses and pitfalls listed above and gets the best out of Dybala :baus:
