I think the slip was intentional. I was watching a video from Crespo some time ago in which he said how it's beneficial to go down when shooting because you're putting more power this way.

Didnt work bc there was as much power as my 7 year old daughters shots. Not knocking him but he just slipped. Going down while shooting doesnt look like that. If you look at the Lazio game where he scored that was prime example of falling the right way to maintain power.
Anyway he completely skinned the defense with that move of his. We are so out of sync as a team and still flying high. I cant imagine if Ronaldo hits form and Dybala and Costa do as well.

This is where Max comes into play. Does he have what it takes to get the most out of this on-paper offensively talented squad? Inter scored what, 5 goals. Juve on pace to score less goals than last season. Hanging on with with slim 1 goal lead yesterday for more than half the match at home isn't what this team should be doing. That one bad mistake like the OG that benefited Juve could go against them. Max, It's a long season but let's get the offensive going, sooner than too late!

Also we have a ton of injuries and a huge game midweek. So trying to exert ourselves in a game against Cagliari is stupid IMO. Why would we go for a bigger win in that game? Can you imagine when we get all our players back? We havnt had close to a full squad all year and have dropped 2 points in all competitions. Not sure how you can crap on Max for this.
We are trying to get the best out of Ronaldo and thats our main priority for now. We are running away with our group and have tons of key players out.

:disagree: So primitive.

Goals aren't the problem. Defense (team defense + Bonucci and Benatia howlers) is. We're on pace to concede 30 goals. You can't win a scudetto when you concede 30 goals, Allegri was right.

And at the very moment, our fatigued midfield is far more problematic than our attack.

CR7-Dybala-DC will get better the more they play together and as DC recovers his fitness and form. And when CR7 inevitably improves on his 3% conversion rate or whatever it is right now.

He can give them advice and work on schemes during trainings but such individuals rely mostly on their instinct.
So what Inter scored five past Genoa? They also lost to Parma and Sassuolo. Cagliari or other low table teams are no amateurs, you need to play at a very intense level to create scoring opportunities. Also, we scored two against Valencia away in ten men without Ronaldo while Inter barely beat PSV.

I agree goals isn't a problem but just like to be comfortably ahead of teams than hanging on. And please stop with a scudetto can't be won conceding 30 goals. Maybe Max's teams can't do it but it's been done. Greater goal differential is more important than looking to give up the fewest goals in winning scudettos.
