I hope he does really well at the start of this season , as i have a feeling that with the return of Bonucci and the 3-5-2, this could be his last season with us...

This is Dybalas last year to show if he is legend material or a better Saviola version
Yep right cuz he's on his 30's or a lolzillian with disciplinaries issues

How Max use him is gonna be the main issue... if Paulo has to keep going down all the time to get the ball and keep him away from the box, it's not gonna be easy for Dybala

That's exactly what he needs to be doing, collect the ball and pass it to ronaldo

We disagree quite a lot... he needs to be close to CR7 like Benzema did to open space and wall pass, Paulo isn't Isco and has low stamina so wasting his effort tracking back the ball is just nonsense IMO...

Feel like Dybala will have a career year. CR7 will show him elite work ethic. CR7 doesn't have Messi talent, and neither does Dybala. But Dybala has his own unique attributes. He is still a very technicaly player, with above average playmaking ability, world class FK ability. Also, His shot is arguably better than Messi, especially outside the box. With CR7 style work ethic, there is no reason why he cannot at least equal Neymar.

Ronaldo isn't a focal point like Higuain, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Dybala playing closer to Ronaldo.

Well, messi has a great shot too, but i agree in everything else. I hope not only dybala, but every player tries to mimick ronaldos way of training. It may be extreme, but if you want to be the best, you have to train like a freak. This could b more difficult for players that have to go home to see their kids or look for them after training, but dybala can train a little more, the same with other guys. And then see how it goes.

If he can at the very least impro a 20% by mimicking some of ronaldos antic, it will be a win.

About ronaldo, i would love him to be the focal point of the attack.

Yeah that's why I said arguable, specifically with respect to outside the box. It's fairly close statistically too.

Over the last 3 years, Messi averaged 0.21 goals on 2.4 shots outside the box (8.564%)
Over the last 3 years, Dybala averaged 0.19 goals on 2.1 shots outside the box (9.233%)

Both are very solid. And just by eyeballing Ronaldo's figures he averaged ~6.4% (2013/14) in his best season with Real Madrid, 5.88% in 2016-17, 0% last year, and 4.88% in 2012/2013/

It really puts into perspective how dangerous Dybala is outside the box. I think he is one of the best in the world but I'd need to crunch more numbers.
