What Allegri said was that a player should always look to improve because ambition is to play for Juventus and if you ever want to leave there are RM, Barca and Bayern as options because all others are a step below. He never mentioned Dybala told him anything about leaving or that he will leave or did he say Juventus is not a great club and players should leave to improve. Completely different statement to what was reported and in line with usual Allegri comments.

And we all know that at some point Dybala is going to go and probably play for another big team, because mostly that's football now and it's Juve. He'll want a change and we'll facilitate it. And as I've said many times, in my own opinion that could well be the end of this season coming.

Griezmann staying at Atletico is worrisome. Wouldn't be surprised if Barca now pushes for Dybala after the WC & we all know how Marotta will react if Dybala wants that move. :shifty:

Pretty weird interview from Allegri being so open about player's futures. Anyway none of you should be surprised if he leaves next year though. Its inevitable he leaves at some point.

@Mark, @IlCapitano @anyone - can someone who read the correct version of Allegri's interview post it here? FIs version:

"I spoke to Dybala before he went on holiday and his objective is to have more great seasons with us and then go to a great team to improve. If you’re playing for Juventus, you have only three chances to improve: Real, Barça or Bayern."

Next WC is Dybala's time.

Argentina should invest in a top coach. What a waste of an era. The great players they have had over the last 20 years or so and they won fuck all.
