The Sweden striker
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a five-year contract at Barcelona in a deal equivalent to a €66m (£57m) transfer from Internazionale, which includes Samuel Eto'o moving in the opposite direction.
The move was confirmed following a medical this afternoon in which a fracture was found on the striker's left hand but not considered serious enough to prevent the deal going through.
The European champions have paid Inter €46m for Ibrahimovic, who was the highest scorer in
Serie A last season and finished with 29 goals in all competitions.
Eto'o, who is valued at €20m, and at 28 is only a year older than the Sweden striker, is the main makeweight in the deal and has agreed a five-year contract at Inter, but the former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb is also on his way to the Italian champions on a season-long loan.
Hleb, who has failed to cement a starting place at Camp Nou since his switch from Arsenal in 2008, is available for Inter to buy at €10m after the loan agreement ends.
