He was pathetic in both halves. I'm confident he will a learn a lot from this experience. Anyone saying we need to sell his ass is just out of his mind. Dybala will get better, he has to. Paulo needs to be calm, he needs to be serene... I'm still proud of the team we have built tho, coming off from serie b ten years ago, I would have never imagined we would make it to two Cl finals in three years

The thing here is, what is really his natural position? With the system we play he need to play linkup. We saw that in some previous games, like that Higuain goal in France where Dybala backheel on own half started a glorious move. But today, he wasnt linking Higuain or Alves with the rest of the midfield. But then you realize, he is playing AM but he isnt really a natural AM.

I think long term Dybala would benefit still playing as a proper forward with a partner who can compliment him. But i will also say, in the end, we can criticize him all we want, he isnt experienced enough at this stage, which comes with time and age. Against Barca he was the player of the game.

People forget that CRonaldo didnt even make final after he moved to Real for 4 seasons in a row.

He is 23y old but watching his awful performance, there is no hope for this guy. The amount of wrong decitions in a match is baffeling. He looked like he was 15, playing his first match on top level.

:agree:

I also wonder what we plan to do with his position in the long term. He is crucial to our play as an AM but i think he would perform better upfront and getting in the box more.
