If he can score a goal like that and then be able to get into dangerous positions every game then I'm a happy camper. People are pressuring him way too much with the MEssi comparisons and the media hype. He lacks a cutting edge, but players often take a few games back to get into their stride. I also don't like it much when players have contract talks going on for some time.

I don't think he lacks cutting edge. Even last season he scored pretty much every chance he got. He's a really good finisher who is just going through a bit of a slump in his finishing. Even that might be a bit harsh on him considering it's not like he is even close to emulating some slumps our forwards have had in recent memory. Morata for example had a few of these slumps were he couldn't score to safe his life which lasted for games.

I don't mean in general, just at the moment. Notice today though how he stopped going for the power finish and everything was a technical finish 1 from 3 isn't bad for a SS, but that one on the Higuain pass has to be a goal for a player of that quality, right foot or not.
