If he can score a goal like that and then be able to get into dangerous positions every game then I'm a happy camper. People are pressuring him way too much with the MEssi comparisons and the media hype. I'm sure he'll work harder to make sure the next time he's in the same scoring positions it'll end with a celebration. The misses were weird ones though, ones of overthinking especially the one where he shot to the right and it skewed off, I was sure he was going to go for the left curved shor

Dybala was great today, don't know what match some you guys were watching.

No one scores every time they get a chance. His overall contribution has improved so much during his time here, he does everything.
Scores a goal like that and still gets idiotic comments like his finishing has been awful
Time to sell :sarcasm:

He lacks a cutting edge, but players often take a few games back to get into their stride. I also don't like it much when players have contract talks going on for some time.

I don't think he lacks cutting edge. Even last season he scored pretty much every chance he got. He's a really good finisher who is just going through a bit of a slump in his finishing. Even that might be a bit harsh on him considering it's not like he is even close to emulating some slumps our forwards have had in recent memory. Morata for example had a few of these slumps were he couldn't score to safe his life which lasted for games.

I don't mean in general, just at the moment. Notice today though how he stopped going for the power finish and everything was a technical finish :D 1 from 3 isn't bad for a SS, but that one on the Higuain pass has to be a goal for a player of that quality, right foot or not.

True. Has he ever scored a goal with his right for us?

Some of the comments such as "he had a poor game"

He should've finished a couple of chances but still got a goal and his overall contribution to the team was very good.

He'll be in top form by the time we play Porto.

If he can earn to finish and put games away he will become a top striker. He needs to do that to get to the next level. Such a phenomenal talent and player.
Agreed. Needs to put away easy chances to take him to that B d'or category of talents. He's not at that level yet but he'll get there.
