You should consider moving to Russia, they love doping
I don't like doping, it is cheating after all. But if drugs make people younger and healthier, that's a good thing. Blind hate for something usually is kind of stupid. That being said, I'm obviously against the use of PED's.

Well I think he was talking about drugs that either are doping or will be in the future :D

Yeah, I know, but I wasn't :D.

As for them taking drugs.. I don't know. Part of me says they have to be. Then again they're among the most tested athletes in the world (no one give me that bullshit about football players not being tested as much, Messi and Ronaldo are tested very regularly). I also believe that neither one of them is capable of incredible physical feats. They're both quick and jump high and stuff, but compare Ronaldo to Bolt and in terms of sheer speed it's nothing. They don't run exceptionally much during a game either, more to the contrary even.

There is one thing that stands out though: their tremendous recovery rate.

So how do you explain Messi not having any big injuries in his, what was it, almost 13 year old career?
What are you talking about? Messi has had lots of muscular injuries, he's often been sidelined for 2-3 months because of thigh strains. And even if what you were saying was true, there are lots of other players who haven't had big injuries either. In fact, the vast majority of athletes don't get huge traumatic injuries and sometimes the ones that do, turn out to possibly have gotten them because of doping.

What makes people think of drugs with Messi and Ronaldo isn't their injury history, it's the fact they're always good to go after 2 days of recovery and seem to be in form year round.

Na this wasnt form or anything to do with injuries or having nobody to play with. He was just having a bad day and played like shit. It was the simple things he did wrong. Siimple passes and touches were going wrong not to mention his awful miss. These things happen no need to look into it too much the talent is there and he is a bright kid. Just a shit day at the office.

People are overlooking just how good Fiorentina played too. They pressed the fuck out of us and done it so well. We werent in great shape physically or mentallg and we paid for it.

I don't remember any huge injuries from Messi apart from him missing a few months at the beginning of last season, gotta take a look then. But I think it's all minor injuries that make him miss few games which i wouldnt classify as big injuries. Big injuries to me are those that make you miss all or majority of the season, like Jordan had in his sophomore year for the Bulls or Chamberlain in his 1st season with the Lakers. Ronaldo i do remember having some few months injuries, more from his Manchester days though and neither those would I classify as big (Ronaldo is the better athlete though).

And yes, their recovery speed is also not normal, i dont know how they do it but I certainly wouldn't exclude drugs and doping, especially with Messi (guy is a tax stealing criminal who got away with it for years, taking drugs should be easy for him)

My point was that big injuries aren't prevented by doping.

Well im no expert on the field obviously, i do find it curious that these 2 of all people are almost always fit and ready to play in top form, whatever the reasons for that are
Yes, that is weird. But it's not as if all other players are constantly plagued by career ending injuries. Lots of players only have three or four small injuries in their careers.

There are plenty of players who are always fit and ready to play. Guys like Sanchez, Suarez and Lewandowski just a few examples. I'm pretty sure both Messi and Ronaldo have been injured more than these three for example. When it comes to recovery it has to be said that Messi actually runs very little in the Barca games which surely helps when recovering.

Take a look last seasons CL game against Atletico for example.

Isnt Sanchez injured a lot last few seasons? Maybe it's just me.... I read in some barca forum fans criticizing Messi for not running a lot, makes sense that hes recovering faster than others if he runs so little. Kinda expected from that midget that hed walk around and only turn up for offense

If drugs make 30 year olds perform like they're 20, we should probably all be taking them soon.
Such drugs exist, and they are very illegal naturally :D

I strongly disagree with that. You tell me any injury and i'll tell you how illegal drugs can prevent it from happening or beeing much less serious.

Thing is, most of the drugs i will mention are exceptionally easy to detect.

Edgar Davids, is a massive hint in the best of the list.

No older then 20 for sure, no one who say him live at his prime would be saying that filth.

Zizou is top 10 all time type of legend, so saying there are a fair bit of legends superior to him is valid, shitting on him while namedropping random top player level players is foolishness.

Maradona, Messi, Ronaldo, C.Ronaldo, Pele, Cruyff, Beckenbauer, Platini, Di Stefano, Puskas, Eusebio...shall I continue?

That's a great list, but I doubt you were alive when Puskas, Di Stefano, and Eusebio were still kicking a ball. My dad was, and he assures me Zidane belongs in the Pantheon of greats. He has won everything there is to win at both club and international level, and had a huge impact in doing so. If you are going to include CR7, then you definitely have to include Zidane.

I don't see how C.Ronaldo being there has anything to do with Zidane.

And so what if I wasn't alive during the period the aforementioned played? Aren't they still considered some of the greatest of all time? My argument is that Zidane can easily be kept out of the top 10.
