Juve should allow him to go to the Olympics. Not cool to deny him the opportunity to represent his country

We pay his wage and our season starts in August. Coming straight from the olympics without any pre-season would not be good for the player.

His country decided not to pick him to the competition that actually matters. I'd sat that's not cool by them.

Hm, didn't know we paid his wages... that changes everything. It's like when my boss doesn't give me time off to go my grandma's funeral, I totally understand.

Just kidding with the comparison of course. But it seems like he really wants to go, we should be understanding about it.

:) It's just too big of a risk to let him go as he is so important for us. If there was a bigger window between the two competitions I would actually like to see him dominate there.

We basically said the Olympics overlap with the season, so we hoped he'd be called up for the Copa America. Then Argentina didn't call him up.
He's an important player and we pay him a hell of a lot of money but the olympics is something else. I think most people would sacrifice a lot for an olympic medal. A shame that it overlaps like that. Busy summer for sport.

Let the kid represent his country. That creates a bondage with the club and mutual trust, things that money can't buy easily. He might be a little tired at the beginning of next season, but we should have enough quality even without him to win in Italy and against at least 2/3 of CL group. By November he would be back at a 100% anyway.

No way let him go to the Olympics.

It barely counts as a tournament. Juve were more than fair, if you get called for the Copa you can go, if not you stay. I read his quote more as he was disappointed at not being called than with Juve.

Olympics in football mean very little there isn't that much prestige in winning it. Serie A is by far the more important competition and even Dybi knows that.

I'm aware of how the Olympics are regardedas a football competition. I'm talking about Dybala having the opportunity to have an OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL. You can win champions leagues and shit but having an olympic medal to show your grandchildren is something else entirely.

I think you're getting caught at that Olympics thing now. It really is nothing special to win gold in the olympics in football compared to other medals you can collect during your football career.

Dybala has few caps, and has said many times how much playing for his country means to him. It would be a great opportunity for him to stake a claim for a bigger role with his NT. I can understand why Juve don't want to let him go, but I'm sure he would definitely go to the Olympics in given the choice
