Let's sell our best players/star performers every year, and then eventually end up losing the Scudetto to Inter or Napoli :baus:

It's not about the selling price, it's about the concept. So much for wanting to model ourselves on Bayern. If we continue down this path, we are no better than Dortmund or ATM. Pathetic really :sigh:

Hehe, its happening again. The marketing, the brand, the social media activity, the constant reports about other clubs(that we force ourselves not to believe in), the flirting with other clubs......and the biggest proof of all? This: http://www.footyheadlines.com/2017/03/dybala-to-join-adidas.html

BACK TO BACK WORLD RECORD BABY! BOOM.. 150m incoming.

Douglas Costa
Verratti
Tolisso
Mbappe
Vidal

Let's...
:howler: Sure, because other clubs are just gonna bend over and take it in the ass when they see dollar signs like we do. Mbappe isn't going to be be sold for less than 80 million, and Verratti probably close to 100. Selling Dybala isn't going to get you all these players. Delusional! It just pisses me off to see Juve fans being ok with selling our star performers year in/year out. Zero ambition really!

Don't tell me you think all those players can be bought with just €150m :shifty:

Sanchez/Pjaca - Higuain/Mandzukic - Bernardeschi/Cuadrado

Tolisso/Rincon - Verratti/Marchisio - Pjanic/Khedira

Would you sell Dybala to make it happen (+money from the other scrubs that we are selling anyway)?

It's getting funny. It's debated every summer by Juve fans, then comes fall and the regrets.

Money these days means zilch. It's not the bank account that is competing but the outfield players. Replacing a hot property by money even if the price seems fair will downgrade the club especially since resources (great players) are getting quite scarce, and the few of them that are, are unsellable or very expensive. If a player of ours is deemed hot property by the best of clubs, it should be for us too else it shows we're not at the top/same level.

And some people are way too obsessed with resale value. It's much more useful and impacful for a club to retain a player for 3/4 years, have the player bring quality, an edge on the field over the others during that period and let the player go for nothing, than selling the player for 80-100 millions which gets you peanuts nowadays.

If we could trade Dybala for Sanchez + Verratti or Griezmann + Vidal I'd say do it, major upgrade hello. Obviously it's very unlikely Juve will manage to sign several of these superstar level players, so I'd say better keep our own. I think Dybala isn't worth 125m, but he might be more valuable than what is available on the market for 125m.

I'd work towards retaining Dybala (even if he scores less this year he still has a massive impact on the way we play imo) and getting a great versatile midfielder. The dream is Verratti and would be perhaps be the final piece we need to be one of the best, if not the best team out there for a season or two.

Not sure we have the funds to pay 80-90m transfer fee + 6-7m in wages for Verratti without making sacrifices. Maybe if we manage to sell Lemina and Sturaro for decent sums, they never play anyway.

1. We could probably do it but then will have to achieve certain results which if we dont we will see a low cost mercato the next year...
2. Even if we make a sacrafice such as Dybala - We could easily become better as Verratti+Sanchez is better than just 1 Dybala in terms of quality (not talking future and etc...)

Im pretty sure we will sell Lemina and some others but if we keep Dybala which seems like its going to happen I dont think we will sign Verratti - We will probably buy Tolisso and another player like Bernardeschi
As for RB I only see us getting one if we lose Alves
As for LB - We will only get one if we sell one of Asamoah/A.Sandro

CB - We already have an option for Benatia so its a done deal
Coman - Dont count on high sum for Coman as even if Bayern decides they dont want him they could easily get him and sell him on...

In the end I expect us to have the exact team (for once) with the additions of Tolisso and AM/Winger/SS (Bernardeschi or other..) As for Sanchez - I somehow dont think we will get him - I see Conte and Chelsea going for him

It will all depend on the player...like always. Remember our funny politics.

Since the other teams shine brighter than us... guess what will happen...

Remember Coman is basically a swap deal for Benatia. Both clubs are paying that sum this summer and to me it sounds like a swap agreement.
Also if we did sell Dybala to real it would be wise to try to get one of their players on the discount. James could be brought in and do the role that Dybala has. Different players I know and have different traits but its not a big switch at all.
