That was fast.

7mln net already.
I doubt it. More like 4-5M NET.

Though if they give him huge wages now, its a signal that we want to keep him for a long time.

Labile was always expected be our cash cow. No club has recorded a 100M profit on a transfer ever in football history.

:agree:

'twas always the case, and we were never and will likely never be the type of club that suits a player like Pogba long-term. He was always going to be used to upgrade our squad. And his 120M has done just that. Pjanic-Higuain cost us 120M. Fantastic upgrade if you ask me.

I hope Dybala keeps number 21. If he accepts the 10, it just shows his lack of belief and blindly following the big money marketing chunk of the number 10. Let the number 10 be reserved for a leader of this squad, not just give to a random rising star just to leave us for cash after we are serious contenders for the CL. Number 10 is a symbol of loyalty and leadership, I would give it to Gigi, Chielini, Bonucci or Marchisio because they're the only ones that represent the true Juventus values.

Regardless of the Pogba saga, I think Dybala earned his #10 at the start of the season. Remember back when we were losing and drawing and the whole team played like S#!t? When we had a penalty kick, he - as the new player in this team - took responsability and stepped in? He had immense pressure on him and he didn't run from the challenge...mentally, he is a champion :alen:

We're yet to see his true values as a person, not just as a footballer with skills and confidence. Number 10 is a symbol of a complete person that is a leader in the dressing room. If you remember 2-3 weeks ago, Dybala said in an interview that he doesn't see himself as a leader yet.

Sure, you are right, but I was really impressed with what I saw from him in that situation and I see him developing nicely on and off the field. I'm not sure being a leader in the dressing room is that important...we speak of no. 10, not the armband. You just can't be a leader in front of Buffon, BBC and Marchisio. For the no. 10 to be influent on the pitch, respect your club and teammates and plan to stay here a lot time is enough for me. If Pogs leaves I would give no 10 a break....for us it's more about honor and history than other clubs' marketability. I just don't want #10 to move almost every year.

Too early to be dishing around a number 10. We need someone with passion wearing it. Alex and Tevez were good examples. Dybala just doesn't suit it IMO. I'd take a step back and retire this shit than just start to dishing it out.

no place for such things these days

give it to the most marketable player and try to earn as much as possible

thats how it works

I wouldn't mind him getting the 10 shirt... I honestly feel the resting period for that number only applied the season after Alex' departure and then from that point on, it's just a matter of who wears it better.

Yeah he seems a good fit for it technically, but you have to imagine the possibility he might leave in a year or two as well, and do you really want it changing hands every other year or so? As a fan, no i want a Claudio type of loyal player who is also techincally proficient that will stay for at least 4+ years upon getting it to show the club and fans that they truly respect the team. As a club owner, I agree with @igortudor its about the sales. Giving it to the most deserving player doesn't further the club's business interest in the age of mercenary players unless you are on Barcelona level. So I hope if Dybala does get it, that he takes it into consideration if/when he wants to move on. Maybe it'll make him think twice. One can be optimistic and hope.:xfinger:

Apparently it didnt make Tevez or Pogba decide to stay any longer. Though Tevez did do the shirt justice.
