Lol seems like none of you are old enough to remember...A nobody said well Pogba, but IF we have to Id prefer to use Pogba money to keep Dybala instead of vice versa..no question we have to keep both but in reality ONLY player loyalty will keep them BOTH here.
Secondly il brutto do you actually remember DP at 22? I'm not talking about YouTube highlights I mean real match time intelligence.
I don't even know what you're trying to say with your explanation anymore it makes zero sense.

Sadly I haven't seen Del Piero play at that age but I'm sure there are people here who can validate my view. But from the highlights I've seen and from the things I've read and heard he definitely was better at that age than Dybala is now. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love Dybala and see immense quality and talent in him.

How the $#@! would you use Pogba money to keep Dybala?

By buying him zillions of birthday cakes to keep him happy forever and ever.

Del Piero before the injury in 1998 was a top 5 player in the world. He lost a lot after the injury but before he was an even bigger talent than Dybala.

Juventus star Paulo Dybala, who has 16 goals for the Serie A champs, has caused a bit of a storm for his quotes on Cristiano Ronaldo and Lione Messi regarding if they were to ever play in Italy.

"Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo would not have scored 80-90 goals in Italy, perhaps 30 like [Napoli's Gonzalo] Higuain, but not 80."

So true.
When i read that the first time, i tought i was reading one of my posts :shifty:

Nobody said SELL Pogba...spelling error
I meant if I HAVE to let one go, ID prefer to keep Dybala. Also I've actually been watching since right after the injury to DP, which is why I wanted more opinions from others.. I'm not saying Dybala will be better, but I'd be surprised if he didn't reach DP heights. Needs to put on muscle like DP did though

a comparison between dybala dan del piero is IMO like a comparison between messi and ronaldinho, messi does outscore ronaldinho by a lightyear or such, but dinho at his prime was one level or two above messi in how magical dinho was, I'm not sure if messi ever performed marseille roulette in his career while dinho at his prime could do a marseille roulette and ending it with a perfect lob backpass.

Think he said 30-40, not 30. lol at FI sensationalizing.

And he's absolutely right.

You could have seen back then that DP was special kind of player, very much like with Dybala today. Every move he made was inspiring, vision, technique, dribble... Arguably at the age of 22 DP was bigger name in football, since he had led his side to a CL win.
Unarguably, not arguably. At 22, Del Piero came 4th in Ballon D'or. And he was viewed as that good too. At 22, he was a much bigger name than Dybala (Serie A being most viewed played a part too), who's seen as someone with that kind of potential. ADP was already the finished deal and at that time was better than Zidane, who hadn't reached his very best yet. ADP already had a few WC-level seasons while this was Dybala's first WC season. As well as Dybala has done, there's no comparison.

I'm surprised you don't even know much about Del Piero...given your nic and avatar.

Did you just say Messi < Ronaldinho?

"Dybala (the most complete attacking player in the Serie A and 4th most complete in Europe) in relation to Messi":

In the one below, upper and lower limits are the top 5% and bottom 5% averages from top-5 leagues.

According to Allegri, "within the next two years, Dybala will become one of the strongest players in the world."
