The major difference in Dybala and the players you mentioned is that they were all at, or near the end of the line. Dybala is just hitting his prime, and like the aforementioned players, has been a model citizen, and has profoundly expressed his love for this club.

He could be this generation's Del Piero for us, and why on earth would we want to let that go? Because of money? There isn't anyone out there that we could remotely replace him with that would be attainable. Let's say we get Isco and 50 million for him. What do we do with 50 million? We certainly can't get someone to replace Dybala. So where does it go? We would literally be leaving Ronaldo with no one else upfront with him. Another Midfielder? Great. Then opposing defenses will put 2 men on Ronaldo, and take their chances everywhere else, and mind you, we don't have the midfielders that could score from anywhere on the pitch like we did with Vidal and Pogba. There is no legitimate scoring threat from the midfield as things currently stand.
I woukd like to add that if he wants to be a fulktime del piero, then he will have to do some financial sacrifices as del piero did. Asking forbstraight 15mils for example, is not a del piero move

I dont know.. I hear rumors we cannot keep both and Pirlo chose Ronaldo which means Dybala gets sold.
If this is the case I`ll be very disappointed

After a season like this, we can be happy Dybala wants to stay.

If I had to choose between Ronaldo and Dybala, I would not hesitate a second and choose Dybala.

The Ronaldo experiment failed.
I would also choose Dybala, and not because I don't appreciate Ronaldo or am ungrateful for what he has done. We have regressed in Europe and in Serie A over the past couple of seasons, so it makes sense to drop the older player with much higher wages. We're unlikely to win the CL anyway, with or without Ronaldo, so why keep him for another couple of years and keep bleeding? It makes no sense to me. This is of course all hypothetical, and assuming the rumors pertaining to our financial "struggles" are valid.

Then Pirlo is already proving to be a retard, if true of course.

The only problem would be to find someone as decisive as ronaldo has been. he has been carrying us in the last couple of years in the CL, and if it wasnt for the shit performance of the team, we could have reached far.

The problem with Dybala is that until now, he has not shown this carry trait in the CL. Thats the truth.

It's also important to note that Ronaldo's contract is up in 2022, and maybe Dybala and his entourage are aware of that :boh:

You Muppets are also forgetting that in 2022 the financial landscape might be different (only 2-3 years ago, 100+ million transfers were deemed improbable) and that, in line with inflation and wages + transfer fees constantly on the rise, 15 million might be the equivalent of 12 million now.

And here we are, out of the CL in the round of 16, in one of our worst European campaign since the days of Conte. Last year we lost to another young team in Ajax. Messi hasn't won the CL in 5 years either. We don't need a Ronaldo or Messi to win in Europe - yes, it helps, but you need a solid and balanced team above all else. Sacrificing Dybala would be beyond retarded, especially considering how shit both our midfield and fullback options are. So, you want to weaken the fucking attack as well? What kind of demented logic is that?

Calma, we will sell neither IMO. How do you replace them in such a market then?

Move the deadwood and that will generate a lot of savings, especially on wages.
The only way i can see is to move out all deadwood, and sign just promising young talent with farmer wages.

This is the most ridiculous news I read for ages. Selling Dybala because of wages whilst we have all the other players on our roster, not to mention those such as Ramsey on ridiculous wage packets. Get the fuck outta here.

He doing it to become Juve legend. If he gets 15m a year then other teams cant afford his salaries so he will not be sold. Otherwise Tici will sell his ass.
