Drogba has 100 EPL goals in 226 games. Lukaku has 96 in 217. And he's 26.
Lol...Beyond stats, Drogba was a big game player and absolutely critical for his team. He scored an astonishing amount of cup final goals. Nobody is doubting Lukaku can score goals. We all know he can. It’s just that he scores the vast proportion of his goals against cannon fodder.

Even for Belgium where he’s their all-time top scorer; he’s scored most of his goals against the likes of Gibraltar and Luxembourg. That isn’t gonna help Juve in anyway. We can already spank the small teams.

Can you really see Lukaku making a difference in the latter stages of the CL with his rapist first touch?

There is no way that is the deal, because we'd be burning money. Even purely from a marketing point of view Dybala is twice as interesting as Lukaku.
what if there is some kind of attempt here to help Inter land Lukaku at a more favorable price before we purchase Icardi from them?

Icardi is still a much more sensible target for Juve but I remember rumors were that Inter demanded Dybala and Juventus said no.

That somewhat makes sense, but why would we offer cash on top of Dybala?

Belgium qualified for the 2014 World Cup after his goals against Croatia. Hardly a small team. Also scored against the USA in that World Cup.

I don't think he suits us or that his qualities will help us. I am 100% against him coming here. But what some of you guys are saying isn't fair.

:boh: idk maybe Dybala was never on the table and that part is just English press making a more interesting story by claiming they've spotted Dybala's agent in England

Why would Dybala want to go there anyway? Dybala to Manure makes no sense.

Maybe Beppe's presence at Inter means there will be more deals between the two clubs due to his relationship with Agnelli. Beppe is a professional and obviously does not care about the rivalry.

My heart is broken after reading stuff like:
Dybala was upset and wanted to stay at Juventus + play in the Champions League. No personal agreement with United yet. He is not enthusiastic about the Premier League (@MaxNerozzi)

Because I totally feel him. I'm praying that Sarri has a good wake up tomorrow with 10 cigarettes smoked before the conversation with Paulo. Im so fucking sad. Pissed of at the same time.

All those summers of speculation about Dybala wants to leave to play in Spain, he loves Barca or he doesn't get along with Allegri (lol) and in the end we sign a coach who should fit him in then force him out to England :disagree:

Dybala want talks with Sarri, Sarri tell him he doesn't fit with his 443 system, Dybala is left with no choice but to say yes. Fuck everyone involved in this farce.
or... Dybala talks with Sarri and Sarri tells him he doesnt fit, Dybala is left with no choice but to say yes but Man Utd already moved on which makes us trade him for Neymar instead..

I imagine the conversation goes like this:
Dybala: Good morning mister. I'm hearing speculation that you want me out and I don't fit your plans. Is that correct?
Sarri: *smiles* I'm just happy to be here.
Dybala: Fine. But why Lukaku? his first touch is heavier than a pile of concrete.
Sarri: I'm just happy to be here.
Dybala: Look I can be a CF in your system just like Mertens in Napoli
Sarri: I don't know. I'm just happy to be here.
Dybala: Wait, you don't give a fuck do you?
Sarri: I'm just happy to be here.
Dybala: Fuck, give me a cigarette.

What if its not Dybala but Mandzukic that is going to United (seems a much more sensible move for all parties) so that United will release Lukaku to Inter and Inter will release Icardi to Juve? :boh:

I don't think United is looking for a replacement to let him go. They want money.

Evereton was asking for Mandzukic, we sold Kean.
UTD is asking for Mandzukic, we will sale Dybala.

Tbh if I were Dybala, I would leave purely because of the disrespect of wanting to swap and replace me with Lukaku. Out of pride, I wouldn’t even try to convince the club to keep me even if I really didn’t want to go to the offered destination.

However, as a fan I hope he really tries to change the club’s approach as I really don’t want Lukaku lol.
