Do t know why I'm not over the top about this deal. I feel like Dybala has the talent, it's just his age and temperament that worries me a bit, and hopefully we will give him the time to mature so he can grow into his role rather than be thrust into the deep end. Also, given the kind of wages we are intending to pay him, since a hes coming from Palermo seem pretty steep for a 21 year old. Beppe and Paratici clearly see him as a more finished article than some of us here, which is going to be interesting to see on the pitch in preseason.

Honestly 2.5 mill a year isn't a lot

He has a whole year to learn from Tevez before he has to start playing a major role and fulfil that price tag.

The money being paid for Dybala is an INVESTMENT rather than paying for what he is worth right now.Think of it as an investment and stop bitching about the price. He's only 21 for gods sake.Imagine the things he could do if he explodes here which is a big possibility considering the stable environment at Juventus.if that proves to be the case, the price will be looked at as a bargain in a few yrs.
25M is huge enough number to initiate everything you wrote and I would have agreed. 40M is a record sum for 1-year-of-contract-left-players. It's insane if you take a sober look.

I'll wait for the official numbers tho. There are probably some useless players involved in the deal lowering the price. Better be more than 1xGoldaniga

I used to be sceptic too, but Dybala looks like a good football player already.
not just a good sprinter or in general good physically (iturbe).
Even more important is that he seems like to have a working Brain,
thats a big plus.

2.5m going up to 3m in a year. For a 21 year old. Pogba didn't have that deal when he came here and he probably wasn't as highly rated as Dybala has been by the press and maybe some of us here. It's an exciting signing by the looks of it, but these numbers in the context of Juve seem to suggest that this guy is the finished article. And I'm curious to see that. Whatever I have seen off him at Palermo didn't suggest the kind of financial outlay we seem to be going for. I hope I am wrong and I'm glad we'll have a flashy young player taking up the #7 at Juve. That number is too cool to have been taken up by the likes that have used it in recent history.

Well it seems it only goes up to that if he scores 20+ goals a season

I think it's got more to do with temperament than ability for me. Like for example, I think Perreyra shows that and he doesn't feel the burden of a big club despite being a relatively young player. Dybala comes in at 21 with the pressure of expectation, on the biggest transfer fee Juve have had in the last 7 years, on three times the wages he probably earns at Palermo? Surely, somewhere he's going to have to show maturity to get to grips with that and that's not always easy to do.

Of course, having the likes of Buffon and Pirlo in the dressing room will have that effect on him, Tevex too, but at the end of the day he's going to have to learn to not buckle under that pressure himself. I just hope he doesn't get overawed here because you have to be Comfortable in your mindspace to express your best football.

In transfer fee. Don't think that clause has anything to do with wages.

Ahh ok well he still has incentives to reach that higher wage we just do not know what they are

Sure. It's a win win if he unlocks those incentives. I haven't heard so much about him in seasons prior so maybe the cost-youth equation comes into play. And like I said earlier, I think the club have calculated this risk, since they saved on the Iturbe transfer last season when Conte walked out.
