how is this fapping over Dybala different to the one last summer over Berardi's good season? is he that good that you'd be willing to spend 30 mil instead of going for the guy we pretty much already own, who's also had more than one good season? I definitely need to watch more Palermo games cause from the few I've seen, while looking promising, he's nowhere near that figure yet.

Comparing Dybala to Berardi is as good as the Morata-Immobile dispute last season.Seriously.

And look how it turned out for us this season.

Leftie's problems.

Everyone noticies when they don't use their right foot, but no one ever mentions that right footed players hardly use their left. :D
True it does seem more obvious on a left footer.

But with way he uses his left e.g. in the clip on the touchline vs Sampdoria when it is far easier and the majority of players would just use their weaker foot to keep it in, makes it stand out more. There was another goal I saw where he got the ball right in front of the goal and it would be far easier to touch it in with his right but he readjusted to his left.

Lucky he has such a good touch on his left though :D

how is that the same?
Immobile was the league's top scorer whilst Morata was barely coming off a few starts at Madrid.People were complaining about giving away Immobile whilst splashing 20m on an 'unknown quantity'.In the end,its now unanimously agreed that Morata is a way better talent/player than Immobile.

In this particular comparison, apparently some stat-obsessed fans think Berardi is 'more proven' than Dybala because of his two seasons in the league as opposed to Dybala's one in top flight. But Dybala is clearly the better talent. Not suggesting Berardi will follow Immobile's path but there's a reason why our mgmt are focusing their efforts towards securing a top talent like Dybala than 'bringing back' one of our own youth.

I like both of them as much. Berardi kind of seems a better passer and also has a decent right foot too while Dybala is better technically. imagine having them both behind Morata in a couple of years.

anyway, we've been on a great run with transfers lately and I'm just afraid of a flop. we made the right call last year by going for Morata instead of Immobile, I hope we can do it again.

edit: Immobile isn't that bad honestly. he just isn't the type of striker that can add much if he doesn't get support. also pretty dependant on a specific system.

a lot of people actually liked Morata, the majority was against him because of the buy back clause mostly and the fact that he was more expensive than Immobile as they didnt want to waste money on a backup striker to have enough for Iturbe/Shaqiri. Dybala is this seasons Iturbe (in terms of being wanted by people here), not Morata. i doubt you would find much who are against spending up to 30M for him. Immobile/Morata was a vs, it was either the one or the other. in this current situation, a lot of us hope we can sign both because a lot of us think they are both amazing. not comparable situations IMO.

Dybala seems to be the more talented player, yes, but he is also a year older than Berardi and has one good season less in his career, lets not forget that. we dont know how the 2 of them will do in the coming years, what i hope is they will turn out as great players and carry our attack in the post Tevez years together with Coman and Morata

Agreed. Good comparison. Dybala and Morata have something extra.. Berardi is still young, but Dybala has proven his abilities at a very young age.

Didn't Agnelli said a while ago that we could make an effort for the right player if an ideal situation came?

If we believe that he is the right player, we can't expect a situation any better than this! The guy (supposedly) wants to stay in Italy, he only has one year left in his contract, we're approaching CL semifinals and getting a 300M revenue. Things won't get any better than this IMO. We won't be able to sign readymade WC strikers for a while, we must take our chances and trust our scout team if they think getting him is a good idea.

Bring him here! Do whatever it takes.
