I hope we sign him. He would be a really important player to the future of our team if we can get him. We should give Palermo what they want for him rather than risking missing out on him like we did with Aguero. I would be fine if we even gave them Zaza along with the cash.

Dybala has so much potential and its not like Zaza is of the utmost importance.

The race to sign Paulo Dybala has been whittled down to Roma and Juventus, with Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini due to meet the Giallorossi.

The Bianconeri have long been considered in pole position to sign the Argentinian talent and rumours even suggested they may have a deal already in place.

Yet the Lupi are allegedly re-emerging as a serious rival to sign the 21-year-old.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Zamparini will be meeting with Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini in the next few days to discuss terms.

While Roma have not formulated an offer yet, the publication speculates that they may add midfielder Federico Viviani – currently loaned to Latina – as part of the deal.

Zamparini has stated he wants no less than €40m and hinted yesterday that Juventus had offered €32m.

The situation bears some resemblance to last year's duel for Verona’s Juan Manuel Iturbe, who was contested between the two clubs and ended up signing for Roma.

Not really. Aguero 5 years ago was not the same Aguero of today. Dybala has the potential to grow.
Aguero was doing almost unprecedent things in his teenage years. He played with Messi in the Argentenian youth teams, and there even were fans & pundits arguing over who was the better of the two.

Aguero as 15-16 year old in argie league was one of the top scorers. 5 years ago he was one of the best strikers in the game already scoring and carrying Atletico. He is a freak. Don't compare him to Dybala, won't do him any favours.

Dybala fits perfectly in that transfer policy of Marotta and co.

He's young, talented and already a proven player on top level.

This would be a great signing and IMO it's better to sign this kid then washed up player like Falcao.

Yep 1st goal he dribbled 1 man and placed a perfectly weighted pass to Vazquez in the box. His shot was was stopped by an incredible save and the rebound was scored. 2nd goal he was sent free and held off 2 defenders while a midfielder got in position. Another perfectly weighted pass gave him the assist.
