SO its a "cautious" prediction? :D
Exactly :klin:

We're obviously very keen on signing him and our offer go as far as to €30m. I think it's safe to say this is more then red?

But it was more of a prediction of potential shirt number. How long will Pepe hold the #7 if Dybala requests it?

That would be like a team saying they wouldn't buy any of our players simply because that one specific game an individual didn't play well. I don't think its fair to judge a guy on one game, yo.

If we judged players on one game alone then half our players wouldn't be bought because not everyone can play well 100% of the time.
It has been two games :D

Don't get me wrong, I like him and would be happy if we got him but the money talked about is huge. IMO a player in that price range should show something a bit more in the games. Although I do doubt he will go for the amounts quoted.

In the first game he had one run, which was not anything special then blazed way over the bar. In the second game he made a nice run and picked out his man with a good cutback, some nice touches but not much else.

I agree that you shouldn't judge a player on one/two games but we also shouldn't forget the games played against the top team when you are talking about paying 40 million.

We don't want to blow the majority of our budget and he turns out like an Iturbe / Immobile who also did well against the lesser teams.

Please get Anderson instead.

He's the closest thing to Cristiano Ronaldo we can get.
lol every time I watch him I think to myself that he's a bootleg version of Ronaldo. Or he's like Serie A's version of Ronaldo.

What's with people thinking that we should even think about going for Anderson? Our club has such a brilliant relationship with Lotito, right... :sergio:

Lotito wouldn't sell us Anderson unless we bid double what everyone else did. And even then I'd be doubtful.

Do you know what makes Dybala special? Our team, the top team in Italy, made our defensive game plan around specifically negating him. We marked him all game and fouled him hard when we could.

We never did this for guys like Immobile and Iturbe. They aren't good enough to demand that attention. Dybala on the other hand, required special attention. We basically told Palermo to try to beat us without him.

I guess no more third-party involve in Anderson's future transfers:
"On 25 June, Lazio agreed a €8.0 million fee with Santos,[10] and Felipe signed a five-year deal worth €800,000 a year. Santos will receive 50% of the transfer sum and the third part owner Doyen Sports will get the rest.[11] Lazio's sporting director Igli Tare criticized the third part owner Doyen Sports for numerous times delaying the transfer, “It will remain in history as the most paradoxical and shocking negotiations I have ever been a part of,” said Tare.“These third party owners changed their minds continually. When we had everything decided, they would start from scratch two hours later. It all happened for a full week, so it felt like being in the Twilight Zone".

so how good is dybala?

dont lie to me guys!... i know a lie when i see it
He's a creative supportive striker, that can play with his back to the goal, is very good in the small space, works hard and contributes defensively, and is one of the quickest players in serie a.

Not a single player in serie a is better suited to become the future replacement of tevez, and he has everything to be an efficient cam aswel
