This is from a few days back

Wenger denies Arsenal have made an offer for Paulo Dybala and says club are not interested in signing him.
"Ask him [the Palermo president] to show you the offer. [There is no interest], not at all."

So...

I walk a lonely road, the only one that I have ever known :drill:

Was browsing Arsenal forums and some of the comments is just mind-boggling.Not that its surprising tho.

They are the ones to talk about 'ambition' ? pffft
I feel bad for the Arsenal fans. They are conned by their club who makes huge profit by taking advantage of their love for their team and gives them nothing. They are without a doubt the most naive and deluded fans. Every year they talk as if they are relevant and an important figure in football when really they are about as important as Tottenham. Liverpool at least have won a Champions League in recent memory.

Arsenal dont really need Dybala.. their club is full of dainty skill players but have no grinta or championship mentality. They should be trying to sign leaders. Same old story I guess. If I was Arsenal I would be trying to sign a midfield because it seems they are lacking one.

Posters like that are more common with the decline of Serie A/exodus of stars, where they deluded themselves its a title in itself just being in EPL. But this forum is also filled with those type of deluded posters.
if you look at that forum then you can see the delusion in the majority of the posters, there are few exceptions though. here the situation is reversed, we have very few "deluded" members and most of them are praising Serie A as a result of some others underrating it at the level of Ligue 1 (or worse even). huge difference

For that kind of money I'd much rather take Mata or Isco. Heck I'd even try to get Willian from Chelsea for that sum.

Dybala is good but I'd be annoyed dropping over 20 million on him. Certainly with only 12 months left, if he's desperate to stay in Italy, then let him stay another year to see if he's the real deal and pick him up on a free.

Isco would cost 50m and upwards.Mata although would probably be sold at a similar price will command atleast 2x more wages than Dybala.
