He's still choosing. Basically he has agreed everything with Juve, Raiola is pushing for that move because of the signing fee, and Man Utd are on a desperate charm offensive to keep him.

He's a merc either way. If he comes here he'll be off in 3-4 good years, but I don't mind that if he has a few good years and then someone pays €30m for him :D

It was in response to Vieira who was playing some mind games. He was saying that Man Utd couldn't hold onto their young players with Morrison going to West Ham and Pogba possibly going. Ferguson said that Morrison was sold as their choice for 'obvious reasons' (his criminal offences), but that they want Pogba to stay because they think he'll be a great 'Manchester United player'.

Can always hope that he'll be guided by some of our older players, unlike United :D I don't see much loyalty if Juventus cannot cooperate with Raiola. The Nedved connection would help.

He's right though, he would be neglected here unless Conte actually would be the first one to give a talented player a chance. Hopefully Conte (like Deschamps) would/will. From the few videos I've seen of Pogba he seems like a good sub for Vidal but I would need to see him much more to give a half decent review. I might very well be entirely wrong in other words. But since Marrone isn't given any time on the pitch I guess Pogba wouldn't be facing that many either.

If Pogba coming here means the following:

1) We'll sell Marrone (loan him out, co-own, etc)
2) We'll not purchase Verratti

Than fuck him! Fuck him hard!

I can't see how all these youth players would get a spot. Marrone and Verratti come first, then Pogba.

Kinda agree with Tak too. Man U just might be the right place for him to develop, the midfield is absolute shit, so there isn't much competition there and he already gets some decent game time more than our own Maronne.
If he comes here he will have to compete with Maronne, Giach, Padoin, Paz and even Bouy and Appelt from the youth sector. And Conte doesn't seem too youth friendly so far, but it's only his first year so I can't really say much 'bout that.

@Joe
I usually agree with you...but this time gtfo. We need more color in our mid!

Marrone > Pogba
And definitely Verratti > Pogba.

It would be nice to sign Pogba, but only if it doesn't stunt the growth and playing time of Marrone and Verratti.

Future Juventus midield:

Pogba - Verratti - Marrone

I actually really really like Maronne, I prefer him over Pogba. But Veratti? Another midget? I'm not too sure about him, I've never seen him play and I've only heard things from here.

If we do get Pogba and Veratti, I wonder how Conte will incorporate Pogba, Veratti, Maronne, Bouy and Appelt in the first team. Every single one of them are being praised a lot and are quite talented. They'll all be impatiently waiting for their first team appearances.

We'll see what the future hold, hopefully we'll get all of them and they all get super big and we'll sell one or two for 40+mil.

i cant see any young player joining and getting a lot of minutes. i think with vidal and marchisio being at their age, and pirlo proving he has a couple of more seasons ahead, the club will be looking for some experienced back up instead of younger players. Especially now that the back ups may have to step it up in the CL if our starters are missing.

Marrone, Pogba, verratti etc...how will they go stepping up against the worlds best in an important game? I'm all for youth, and alwyas have been but i think the club should be smarter for next season and maybe keep marrone, but bring in an experienced back up as well.
