7 players for 4 positions isn't overkill. fuck costa btw.
and you don't pay extra 5 million, if you are gonna leave player there for another year, unless you are a fraud. if anything, we should have paid 5 million less.

That can work, but still want Schick in the squad, he is very dynamic and can play with different types of players with his movement, size and technical level.

Plus we badly need a backup for Higuain. He played far too many games last season (90 minutes in most too). Plus he adds something different with his pace to get in behind, it's useful to have strikers with different qualities to change games, look at Zaza. He wasn't the best player but did a decent job for us because when he came on he stretched teams and added energy.
He's a little skinny for CF IMO. He's better with a little more space as well. Perfectly fit to play on the flanks like he id for Sampdoria. In time he will bulk and become a world class CF but as of right now his pace and dribbling fits better to play on the flanks. Versatility makes his chances of playing here a lot better. Direct Higuain backup and fighting the lot for LW, RW spots.
First half of last season he was CF, did nothing offensively, rarely got in front of goal, was everywhere but scoring positions. Add half a season where he been defensive winger and he hardly has good enough instincts as clinical CF anymore. Watch him for Croatia to get the picture, pretty average CF for them.

If we send him out that looks like we keep cuads. I like that better tbh. Give him game time to improve and get a more finished product next year. If Max thinks he can be of help this seaon then let him be but if not let him gain experience. Its not like he wont get playing time or have to work into a team like most loans.
Keep him. Loaning him out is stupid, have we not learned anything this season? We need rotation options in attack. Can't have just 5 players for four positions.
