At this point, you would have to say that Roma are the favourites to sign him. Although it would seem that in terms of Schick's order of preference it would be 1) Juventus; 2) Inter; 3) Roma. However, it doesn't mean he would say NO to Roma. Ironically, in terms of amounts offered to Samp the order is in the complete reverse.

Imagine Beppe getting him, Howedes and Strootman by the end of the mercato.

In: Howedes, Strootman, Schick
Out: Cuadrado, Asamoah, Sturaro.

The reactions here would be priceless. :touched:
Nice dream. But realistically, it will just be Howedes in and Asamoah out. Cuadrado is going nowhere unless we land Keita or Schick (without staying on loan with Samp) which is looking increasingly unlikely. Strootman is also extremely unlikely (possibility increases if Cuadrado is part of the deal and that depends on them failing with Schick).

Schick & Keita are in many ways the first dominos for the rest of this transfer market.

My base case scenario is Howedes is the last player to come into the squad and Asamoah is the last one out.

Id really pass on him. His transfer has become one of the most stupid transfer saga ever. He should make up his mind who he wants to join, because Ferrero seems like a guy who is really hard to deal with. I understand you try to sell player to the biggest player but creating such a soap opera from this transfer is fucking stupid and wont come good for a player too.

It's not about who he wants to join, though. He's already taken a medical with us, we know who he wants to join!

He looks like a future superstar to me. Hopefully management finds a way to make this happen.
