If Evra was at Man United right now he would be the starting left back, no question.
He took a little time ot adjust but he has been great for us. Really good free signing.

I dont see any difference in us being smart and signing a 33 year old Evra who is still in great shape when compared to City signing Sagna for free from Arsenal, City signing a 36 year old Lampard, Chelsea bringing Drogba back or Munich bringing in a 33 year old Xabi Alonso. Quality players are quality players and if they help the team it is smart to sign them. Successful teams need a combination of young talent and experienced champions to win.
