Dzekos first season in germany wasnt convincing at all while Pastore impressed right from the start in Palermo. Some may not agree but I think that its at least slighty harder to play in Italy, in particular as an offensive player. I have to admit that Dzeko has one more good season in his bag than Pastore but he is also older.
And lets not forget that in the Bundesliga Diego was an amazing AMC while he faced a lot of problems here. Pastore is playing the same role and perfoms really well.

I still think that we should get Dzeko, though.

Edit: Dzeko already proved himself in the Champions League. Maybe I should rephrase the post earlier: Pastore isnt as proven as Dzeko but is showing more promise than Dzeko did at that point of his career.

I like dzeko the best although I vote for Neymar. I think if we get dzeko it means we dont get any defense. Not sure if I should take that into account in this poll but whatever. Also Neymar will be better in 2 years time and has potential to be one of best in world where with Dzeko more like a trezeguet type player than a world beater. Pastore is to unproven for the value IMO. I guess in the end we are a club built on Practicality and not over spending so the price of these guys is pretty important.

Real Madrid already have Ozil, Canales & Kaka. I don't think they'll go for Pastore.

I've heard Barcas economy sucks these days, I don't think they'll buy him for anything more than 30mill€, the will probably get Fabregas.

What other teams are interested? I think there is a little chance after all that we go for Pastore.

Neymar costs as much ass Dzeko. Or are you saying Neymar can defend?

Riiiiiggggghhhhhttt....because Trezeguet did nothing for us. We should have bought a world beater instead of trezeguet, what the hell were we thinking? :wallbang:

I thought that Dzeko was going for around 40 mil. Didn't they reject some 30 mil bids last summer? And I thought that the other two were in the range of 30 mil or maybe a little less. Like I said it depends on price but I do like Dzeko best but they are really asking alot for him

And also I never said that Trez was bad by any means but if you take away him or Del Piero everyone would pick Trezeguet I think. Not knocking his ability just saying if I had to choose one of the two types I want the world beater right now

Hustini, lets not be purposely obtuse. Even Trezeguet himself would choose Ronaldo or Rivaldo over him. Nobody is dissin' on Trezeguet or your boy Dzeko.

But how does one discredit everything a non-world beater like trezeguet has done? Who is to say that the two other "world beaters" will ever win a world cup or become the leading goal scoring foreigner in a top world club?

Or is it because he is bosnian and not some hyped up south american that makes them a world beater.

The only thing obtuse here is the hysteria surrounding these two south americans.

Diego didn't fail here solely because of the defensive characteristics of the league. Our starting team, managers and system all sucked balls. Diego didn't fit in the system to begin with but Dzeko will be perfectly in ours.

its a question of potential vs proven. No nead to blast anyones opinion just I think the potential of Neymar coud out weigh the proven record of Dzeko plus the age is a factor too
You're right, my bad man.

I just wasn't sure what exactly you meant by the Trez comment. He isn't a world beater with amazing physic, but he knew how to score and make his team win. When it comes to winning and needing someone that can score from very little then that is why I choose Dzeko.

No problems I just wanted you to know what I meant because I love trez. I argue with everyone of by stupid friends on how great he is and how its impossible to not call him world class. Anyway lets pray we get any of these 3.
