The problem with this is that his position demands more of him than a few good crosses...it requires him to defend, to cover, to own the flank, both defensively and offensively when possible. His bread and butter has to be, as an essential requirement of LWB, defensive cover/offensive support. His defensive cover is atrocious; he has never shown any competency in defending, for his tackling is awkward, poorly timed and his positioning is clueless, seeing him regularly caught out. As for the offensive support, his only useful input to any matches I have ever seen has been a few good crosses, whipped in with that hook of a left boot he owns but can't control...Passing in a straight line has always been a problem for the young Damien (the omen) doppelganger.
His determination, loyalty, professional attitude are all praiseworthy, but without any natural talent in the realm of football, he has no place at Juventus. Several managers, very different players around him, yet its always the same story.
