I think everybody wants a home grown team, I was happy to get Gio, Marchisio, and PDC back two summers ago but its rare that our players turn out as good as Gio and Claudio. They mainly end up like PDC, above average and fine performers at mid table clubs but not Juve-Material. I personally wanted Lanzafame back here before he flopped at Palermo

cause sometimes they end up exploding into great players. Pirlo with Inter. Vieri with us. Henry with us. Fabregas with barca. All looked more or less above average and turned out to be world class.

He was always overrated, I just wanted him to start ahead of Molinaro thats all.

He was a promising as a 20 year old, but he hasn't improved since then.

I was against letting go of him because no matter what anybody says he is a better backup LB than Jew.
