I don't know why Secco gave them half of De Ceglie for nothing, absolutely no point, now they want 5m. Why not a loan ffs! :(
Exactly ... What did Juve get in return by selling half of De Ceglie to Siena. ???

The only player bought from Siena was Molinaro. Was it related to this deal??

If it is, Secco could be banging his head against the wall now

Why would Siena play unknown youngster from Turin, if they could give chance to their youngsters? If they wouldnt own the half of Paolo, he would get much less chances than he is getting this season. I dont know what we get from giving them half of De Ceglie, but probably some money (not 5m) or he was included in Molinaro deal.

But they didnt know that until he plays for them. Unless its an obvious coveted talent, usually you have to give them an incentive in the way of co-ownership, otherwise instead of developing you talent for free, they can do it with one of their own.

Dont like co-owns buts the general reasoning with some of them. If its a player you ae unsure about, on wether or not you will keep him, or the minor team dont only want loan.

No he is not better than Vargas or Maxwell.....yet.

He is very good going forward and an excellent crosser.

But IMO his defensive ability lets him down a little bit.

I think he can be our starting LB in the future but next season it will be a backup role for him and hopefully he will force his way into the team.

But when you consider that Vargas and Maxwell would most likely be a starter for us next season if we owned them then i would say he is not at their level.

Actually De Ceglie can play anywhere on the left, and he is the man of the match when Juventus primavera demolished Inter's primavera 5-1 where he scored a hat-trick.

Since he is very good at going forward and crossing, might as well put him as a LM or LW.

He hurt his left ankle while he was training with the Azzurrini , he went back home to Italy .

im eagerly awaiting the return of this guy, his versatility will be very useful for us next season. If he lives up to his potential, i see a possible future great for Juve. Welcome back Paolo.

I have a feeling he will be used as a LM as an eventual replacement for Nedved. As for Giovinco, I don't see him playing there in midfield, but in a more advanced position.
