Alberigo Evani's Under-19 side got their 2013 European U19 Championship qualifying campaign off to the perfect start with a comfortable 3-0 win over Group 7 hosts Albania last night. Juve Primavera striker Stefano Padovan played a key role in the Azzurrini's triumph, netting the first and third goals, while another Bianconeri player, Daniele Rugani, captained the team.
The Under-19s' second Group 7 encounter will be against Belarus tomorrow, Sunday 14 October. Their final qualifying round fixture is scheduled for Wednesday 17 October against Belgium.
