It would interest me how you get to those interviews though
I'm a journalist and I'm italian, I write for Calcio2000 and Goal.com, I got a lot of contacts with players agents in Argentina and got a lot of friends who are journalists in Argentina, for example that interview with Valeri was made by my friend Manuel Olivari face-to-face with him but I wrote the questions (I made it for Goal.com and the day after also Tuttosport published it!), now I'm working to the interview with Piatti and I'm in contact with his agent Gustavo Goñi by e-mail, I'm going to interview also Sergio Aguero for Calcio2000

That site RecontraGolazo is my personal site, my brother makes all these videos:

Aguero? Piatti and Valeri is small fries compared to him, so its very very important you pimp Aguero to Juve in that interview ;) :ultra:

I had no idea that site had articles or interviews, but its great for videos. I am not sure if your brother is a member in Xtratime.org, but there is some cool cat that who posts monthly videos of best goals of the month around the world. Its a very cool service he provided, we voted on the goals too etc. Think he stopped doing it (linking it to XT).

Good question, though it would be weird for a neutral journo to ask so much Juve related questions to Valeri when he has never been rumoured with Juve. Maybe just to create news or buzz out of thin air, or that the journo himself has a vested interest in the team.

We allways joked Goal.com and other rumour mill sites (but especially goal.com) checked Juventuz to gauge what the fans think or say write their doomsday spin, but apparently this proves it hehe.

P.S Btw Juanlu, the guy I mentionned who showed vids of goals from your site in XT is called soy canalla in XT. Just FYI.

@juanlo; make sure you make A LOT of publicity for juve when talking to whoever AND keep us linked up with insider infos :)
You're doing a good job btw. Nice to know that there are actually some people around here, who actually met those players we are linked with. keep it up!
PIATTI FOR JUVE!! :)

Now that the discussion has been reopened; can he play alongside giovinco? wouldn't that mean that we'd have to take out a striker?

Something like

---------- Trez -----------
--- Giovinco --- Piatti ---

Yes he makes every month the compilations with the best goals all around the world and he's a member (not very active LOL) on xtratime.org, he didn't stop but he's going a little bit slow LOL

juanlo, are you a Juve fan or a neutral journalist?
me and my brother absolutely Juve fans, I try to be neutral when I write, but my heart is Bianconero, It's years that I don't miss a Juve match (friendlies too)

He is Carlo Gargaranese
No mate LOL I write for the italian version of Goal.com, that's the Valeri's interview on Goal.com:

Of course he can, that would be perfect, by the way I see Giovinco more Attackind midfielder and Piatti more like a second striker, something like that:

Camo----Zanetti----Sissoko

Giovinco

Piatti----Trezeguet

Hehe yeah, posted some monthly in the start of the season, but nothing since, hehe. But few it has been has been highly appriciated.

He is somewhat of a genius at video compliations hehe. Not just the above Piatti one, but this one of Belluschi for example, even if I dont rate the nut much, its an exceptionally done clip (nice soundstracks etc). Shows every aspect of the player very stylistically, with alot of footage, instead of showing the same goals over and over again like many do.

If I was a pro player, I would want him to do vid of me ;)

I would love for us to gamble on Piatti, but for second strikers, or heir to Del Pieros position, I would prefer it if we signed Giuseppe Rossi.

i could live with that. although a bit risky; two new players (giovinco / Piatti) on very CRUCIAL positions (replacing probably the 2 strongest player at juve right now, namely dp and neddy).
Plus, if we get amauri which is getting ever more prabable i fear, this won't happen i think. sadly... But maybe you will know more after your interview. Take some chlorophorme with you and kidnap him. Then bring him to turin and push him inside secco's office. Then start a hunger strike in front of secco's door and say you won't eat until they sign a contract :D

Juve are on Piatti trail
Tuesday 15 April, 2008

Argentine youngster Pablo Piatti’s agent has confirmed that Juventus are keeping an eye on the talented forward.

At just 19, Piatti is one of the hottest properties in Argentine football and is an Under-20 international forward.

He has made his name as a second striker at Estudiantes and has been tipped for the top by Juve hitman David Trezeguet.

“Right now Piatti is only being watched and that is by Juventus,” Gustavo Goñi told Goal.com.

“However, as yet Estudiantes have not received any concrete offer and have not begun negotiations.

“Piatti’s dream, like all South American players, is to play in one of Europe’s most important League and of course Serie A is one of those.

“I have no doubt that Pablo will play for one of the best clubs in Europe.”

Whether or not Juve make a move may depend on the fee they pay for Palermo’s striking star Amauri, if today’s negotiations produce and agreement.

as the one who made the interview is registered on this forum, maybe he can say a word or two about how it looks for juventus. If i try to read between those lines, it doesn't look as if piatti will join juve any soon. He'll probably stay at estudiantes for another year or two until his market value will explode, and then join some major big team (maybe us)

I think Piatti ha an advantage to both Rossi and Messi,im not saying he is a better,i just find that his ability to use both his right and left foot strongly is a very positive thing..i mean ,messi and rossi both are pretty much left footed only,Piatti looks as if he is left footed but his right foot can do a lot of damages too,can shoot and dribble with it..This guy is a very good prospect,i really do wish juve could do these gambles in buying players like him...

Nice.

And btw, I love Calcio 2000. Eventhough it costs me an arm to get it here in the U.S. :D
