What actually happened with Quag and Conte? I kind of missed that whole thing.

Juve wanted to move him, but he didn't want to move on a loan. Instead has agreement with Lazio to move during the summer. Or at least that's what I think the reason is. What's weird is that he has come on as a sub a couple of times in Serie A after that.

Which is what's silly. I think I saw him in the second half coming out when the team was coming out the tunnel. He wasn't in his playing attire, just jacket and jeans. So it obviously shows that hes still pretty close to the team (or at least considers himself to be). So I think it was just silly to have not gotten past that coz he's a handy player and has delivered in crunch moments.

Nobody knows. Apparently he was punished either because he refused to move on loan in Jan or had made an agreement with Lazio to move in the summer. The club was seemingly ticked off about one of those two situations, and what's retarded is, despite that they chose to use him in serie a post that. Could've used him to better effect in the EL. Not like they replaced him with Maradona.
