Moneywise. Not that i like him, i don't. BUT tbh i can see him as a better 3rd choice than our 3 bench strikers. 15M is just too much for a player of his average talent.
Yeah 15M is a pretty bad price no doubt about it. But he's a pretty good Llorente alternative and much more reliable (in terms of goals) than Quag and Gio. Those two are hopefully shipped out in summer.

I don't know why you guys think we're going to sign a 30M+ player lol.

Marotta and management aren't going to wake up one day and be like wow fuck we could have bought Suarez if we didn't buy Matri, Osvaldo, Ogbonna and Tevez. You think they haven't thought of that? Suarez type players just don't fit our financial parameters be it payments plans or wage structures. It just isn't going to happen, I don't know why some of you can't accept that.

We don't need players like that anyways, we just have to be wise with the investments we make, make sure we have motivated players, and start incorporating more youth players.

^Then we are never going to reach the level Juventus used to be ever again and Lippi was right!
We have settled with mediocrity when we can do better, if Napoli can buy a Higuain, then so could we (and even a Suarez too)
That tune is old, Cronios. Try something new. And devastating? Are we back to doom?
Doom, in serie A not, but in Europe DA. We cannot improve our selves if we keep wasting 15mil in completely pointless transfers like that, 15mil from this transfer and 15mil from the summer budget could get us a starter that could improve our team, wasting around our funds like that, limits our potential and thats devastating enough imo.

At least we only lost their salaries back then, now we are in for a move that might cost us the opportunity to raise funds for a starter in the summer transfer window.
If this happens, this transfer would have far more devastating effects!

True, its a straight downgrade to what we have, the only reason we are choosing him, is because of his nationality. Our front line is dominated by foreingers atm
and our nationalist fans cant tolerate that ny longer. So we are wasting 15mil just to appease them, with a player that had just one decent season at Roma and has a few NT caps.
We have wasted millions upon millions for those NT caps, ever since Marotta has joined us and it seems that this trend is not about to change.

I hope that we perform a drug test on him, its unlikely that he will past it, its also unlikely that we buy him for performance though, so we might not care and just get him as a present to our nationalists...

Napoli bought Higuain and they are still behind us. They are not in the CL either. So what the fuck are you on about?
Like someone said, lets not spend any money for the next five years. Then we can buy Ronaldo.

It's not that we settled for mediocrity we financially can't compete for top stars. And we don't have too, look at Dortmund for example.

Napoli purchased Higuain because they sold Cavani for double the money. If we sell Pogba/Vidal we could do the same thing, but would you want that?

The last time Juventus spent the real big bucks was when we bought Buffon, Nedved and Thuram. Do you know how we did that? We sold Zidane and Inzaghi. And we still didn't win any European championship. That was more than 10 years ago, we haven't spent that kind of money since.

I hope he fails his medical, or that we fail to close the deal in time. We complain about lack of money and waste a substantial amount on this inconsistent trouble making son of a bitch. Hopefully, if we end up signing him, he is shipped out ASAP.

People actually believing Conte will control this wild animal. You can't make gold from shit and sewage smell like daffodils :howler:

89 people know their shit. 21 are absolutely clueless as to the damage that is about to bestow this glorious institution aka Juventus.

I am actually surprised to see Nzoric and Treq on that list. They usually have good judgement when it comes to players (except when Nzoric is trolling).
