It's €10m (for argument's sake) either way you look at it, whether you pay a €10m transfer fee or pay €2m to loan for 12 months and then €8m 'option to buy', which we well know by now is just a plot to spread payments out.

Gotta be honest though, last season when we first started using the 352 we were all a bit nervous, because I think we started using against Napoli in that 3-3 draw. We all saw how easily we were overrun with it.

Now, with the proper players it looks like it might actually be lethal. And as we used it more last season we became more and more comfortable with it, like the 433.

Its amazing we have a great starting 11 pretty much in all positions (exception SS/ST along side Mirko/Gio) and how easy it will be for us to change tactics mid game from 352 to 433 or vice versa.

Will be annoying to play against us this year, even more so if Conte finds consistency in his substitutions and bring on the right players at the right time (or taking off the right players at the right time).

:edit: Add our nice depth to that...very exciting. No more Luca Tonis or Martinez's coming on and pissing us off.

Well, if Pirlo had 13 assists in Juve and Vucinic had 9, then it means that there was someone in Juve to score on those 22 assists :agree:
I am excited to have so many players in this team capable of providing 10+ assists in a team that is clicking.

We finally have talent on the wings in terms of delivery into the box. Their pace will inevitably open up space, pull defenders away from our strikers and giving them space in the box. We have Mirko & Gio and who knows how many crazy assists they will compile in 3 competitions this season. Pirlo will have an insane amount of cover for him to use his vision.

Marchisio has shown some great movement in & around the box as well, hopefully that happens more often and Vidal has even shown capacity to squeeze some nice passes into the box. We just need a strong finisher that is more efficient.

Last season we had more shots on goal than most teams and created a zillion chances, our problem was just no one to finish. Hopefully we fix that shortly in the coming weeks.

We will be fine I think this season.

Goals/Assists last season:

Giovinco: 15/12
Isla: 3/2 last season, 2/7 (season before last)
Armero: 1/10
Pirlo: 4/15(?)
Marchisio: 10/4
Vidal: 7/3
Mirko: 10/8
Asamoah: 3/2

Lots of assists in there. We really need to add Jovetic (14/3) to this team.

I disagree with that logic. We didn't have CL, + our players were fit all season. We won't be that lucky this time if we don't sign a real top forward.

We will allways be scoring, hence Alen (when will you change back your name? its dumb) contesting your facetious comment no one scoring. But yeah we will have more assists if we get consistent finisher, instead of spread the goal production to the entire team, and in generally lesser numbers due to lack of top finisher. Pirlo for sure would have had more assists if we had a killer finisher.

Thats why for example Armero had 10 assists, with all due respect to him, most of his assist I saw were more simple low crosses mainly (though he did extremely well penetrating to those positions), the difference was Di Natale being insanely efficient in executing them.
