So? It's still an upgrade, plus we still needed another LWB. Now it's all about the striker, if we actually get this guy first.
We could get someone a lot better though I imagine the loan is probably the key part to this deal and why it may go through.

Juve closing in on Armero

Juventus are reportedly a step away from agreeing a deal with Udinese for Colombian winger Pablo Armero’s transfer.

The versatile Zebrette player, who is also a target for Napoli, is set to become Juve’s third signing of the summer from the Udine outfit, after Mauricio Isla and Kwadwo Asamoah.

The Corriere dello Sport report that Juve’s first move for Armero came during negotiations for Isla and Asamoah.

This morning, as sporting director Fabio Paratici is believed to have already spoken with the 25-year-old Armero’s agent, director general Beppe Marotta is understood to be close to agreeing an initial €1.5m fee with Udinese to take him on a 12-month loan, with a further €8-9m due should the Bianconeri want to make the move permanent.

Juve have previously signed Marco Motta and Simone Pepe from Udinese in deals like this.
