Fanboys who started watching f1 in the last 10-12 years and have no knowledge about the sports history(not wikipedia history) find it hard to accept there are much better drivers than their beloved schumi, and I'm the bitter one

Autosport's(voted the best F1 magazine) best drivers of all time.

http://f1greatestdrivers.autosport.com/?driver=40

If numbers are the only thing that matter, then how about Fangio -

Starts 51
Wins 24
Podiums 35
Poles 29
Front row 48
Fastest laps 23
Races led 38

A win in almost every alternate race he took part in, a win percentage of 47.06%

Schumacher #2, Senna #1 is correct. Alonso is 9th too which shows that as I said he is the second best driver of the 00s behind Schumacher. People think Vettel, Button & Hamilton are better than Alonso

Though I am a Mclaren fan I think Alonso is the best all-round driver. Vettel is slight ahead of him over a single lap, Button in race craft and tyre management and Lewis is better at grabbing a bad car by its neck and finishing at a respectable position.

But yes, Alonso is the complete package. Then again I dont blame the guys(I'm not amongst them) who consider Alonso to be inferior to Lewis as we all know what happened when they had equal machinery. Lewis should have won the WDC with 2 races to spare and Lewis's drive at Fuji that year is considered one of the best drives of the decade along with Kimi's Suzuka drive in 05.

Ladies and gentlemen, Autosport.com is the ultimate source of TRUTH
Why must everyone here (yes I'm including you) take everything anyone says so literally?

 Button is great at tire management but things like that don't make anyone the best. As you said, Alonso can do it all very well.

You're an idiot to think Schumacher is better than Senna makes the whole discussion really crap.
