For each game name THE (only 1) player of the match. By the end we'll see who were the most outstanding players.

PS: please keep your relpies brief so that people can see if their favourite players are doing well without having to read those lenghty threads.

Nedved alone has made me love the czech side.

Nedved was the man. he didnt create a direct goal but he played like a man possessed.

    Holland - Czech Republic

Petr Cech (Czech goalkeeper). He kept them in the game. Nedved could have taken all the shots he wanted but the Czechs would have lost without their fine keeper!

I don't think that Cech was that good, but he definitely was lucky... Nedved was man of the match, great game, sad that he didn't score with that cannon, it would have been a beautiful one...
