ajax wanted him to stay but he wanted to move. Obviously Bouy should stay at Ajax, dumb move was to move to Juventus at that time.

Yeah we poached him and Ajax were very pissed at the time. But having a base level of talent isn't enough, you need luck and to make an immediate impression. He started well with his first loan out of our Primavera when he went to Brescia, then he got a bad ACL injury halfway through the season and it was a downward spiral from there.
