    Jupiler league wrap up

Standard lost their saturday match, leaving the way to the 1st spot free for Anderlecht, but the Brussels team failed, losing 2-1, to giant-beater Westerlo.

Next week will be decisive: Standard-Anderlecht. If Standard wins it'll be 6points ahead for the rouches. If anderlecht wins, we'll have a tie for the first spot.

Standard seem weakened, as they will have to play wthout Onyewu, Beda (both starting DC's) Negouai (MDC, ex-Man City) and Tchité (Striker).

Anderlecht face a difficult week. After being kicked out of the cup by 2nd division team Geel, and losing to Westerlo just today, they'll face Chelsea at home on wednesday, before the clash of the week-end in Sclessin (Standard stadium).
Even if they're already out of CL, Anderlecht will have to stop their curse in this competition (11 defeats in a row), but Mourinho's team will be eager to forget their Betis defeat...

we have this idiotic situation in scotland where rangers and celtic have used religious bigotry for years to grow a large support in this country and ireland(making people choose to support a side due to their religious denomination) now though they have been trying to get a move to the english premiershit as they have sucked all the money out of the game in this country but TBh the english dont want them
off topic: what is your favourite team in Scotland mate?

it is time to see another team from scotland in europe ;)

I was used to like Rangers in scotland, but then a college of me, who is rangers fan, made fun of me after the defeat of juve against bayern. and from that day on, I started to dislike them

Couldn't agree more. The two teams disgust me. Have you seen Wes Hoolahan play for Livvie yet? If so, what did you think?

    EDIT: Thread split.

Rangers & Celtic actually rape the Scottish league, cause they get all the lucrative sponsorships & media attention!Besides that they have such a big influence over the scottish fa its scary!

Its very similar in South Africa, between Kaiser Chiefs & Orlando Pirates.
I reckon those two need to go to english league & let the scottish game move on & develope!
