It would probably work both ways, to be honest, if the tables were turned. It's really no business of any nation to give power to another nation -- particularly if it's at their own expense. Human history is littered with dictators and imperialist conquerors who just didn't like to share.

the only and only way to do the right move is gathering the both sides, and TRY the best to solve it, because nothing can be solved there by force, it needs an honesty and sacrifices from both sides to solve the problems there, but it seems that will never happen..
