yeah ... I could talk hours about U2, my favourite band. :pint:

not to forget Sweetest Thing, Wild Horses or Miracle Drug ... it's useless indeed, i could mention them all. Love them all !

Like you said, U2 were only good back in the day. Their best song in my opinion is with or without you.

Well, you're not the first to say this but I can't agree. With their latest album they went back to the soul of the first years imo.


And then I'm not talking about a song like Vertigo ...

Ooooh I hate Vertigo. I like sometimes you cant make it on your own.

i'm not really into them even though i like british rock music, but i prefer oasis, pulp, manic street preaches, the libertines and blur for example. but of course u2 made great music.

TRUE STORY


At a U2 concert in Glasgow, Bono asked the audience for some quiet.

Then in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands.

Holding the audience in total silence, he said into the microphone

"Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies.

A voice from near the front pierced the silence
