my sentiments exactly, now i see teh red hot chili's going teh same way and i am soooo sad about that.
for me U2 hit their peak with the joshua tree and achtung baby, i think one is a fantastic song that was ruined by mary j

yeah, could be. but not as much as u2. if you ask me rhcp still kept that recognizable sound throughout their whole career, not on the last album though, whereas u2 just lost it somewhere along the way, mid 90's i would say. commercialization(read mtv) is a plague of modern music which very few new artists(read none) don't contain.

It was a beautiful day. I was on the pitch were my home county had just won there first ever all - ireland.

I believe it was also the first time ever they sang Whos gona ride your wild horses. Some other real cracking sonds played was Zoo station and the city of blinding lights was great with the back drop.

They also had a big show in support of Burma's independence and Human Rights.

BTW if your not a member of Amnesty International please consider signing up.

Well I watched them at Amsterdam (Vertigo tour too) and they also played wild horses. I think Bono sang ' Miss Sarajevo' for the first time back then.
