Heard that it's a done deal with Newcastle having signed CHelsea's Babayaro.

Bernard is shyt? He has 2 weaknesses - positioning and his long balls are inconsistent. For the past 2 seasons, Bernard has been one of their better players at Newcastle.

A shytty leftback? Granted, he may not be as good as Lizarazu at his prime, but they're totally different players. Bernard is strong at the flank, and his strength is outmuscling opposing wingers to start the counter attack.

Signing him gives us depth and I'm sure he'll do well for us. Christ, it just feels wrong saying players are crap without even giving a reason - if he was that bad, I'm sure Capello wouldn't even have considered him.

Look at Zebina. When Juve got him, everybody was skeptical of Capello's decision. He's not that bad, is he?
