I don't know.. Mainly because there are very few leechers there, it's like people are afraid to download. Lots of torrents that haven't even been snatched once, something like that would never happen at OiNK.

A similar thing happened to my favorite "demonoid",
can anybody propose, any serious alternative solutions?

I'd uploaded about 500GB to Demonoid, so I had a bulletproof ratio there.

I don't understand all the sadness about Demonoid. Sure it had pretty much everything but as a tracker it was a complete mess. Ratio cheating was everywhere even though no one cared about your ratio. There were thousands of duplicate/triplicate torrents everywhere and sometimes when you download a torrent it ends up being the wrong thing.

I for one am not sad it's gone. Just use btjunkie.org , mininova.org or thepiratebay.org

That's why. On most trackers if you don't have any activity in the first few weeks you get kicked because of inactivity. No one wants "silent observers" as they say.

So what can I do? They tell you to enter the IRC or what ever it's called but I can't make that work. None of the browsers are letting me access it.
